Clover Kindergarteners have been working on computer art and animations. We use Brush.Ninja, a free online program which provides kids with a wide range of computer art tools and also allows children to easily create animated gifs by carefully duplicating and manipulating their images.
This year, students honed their animation skills doing animations for Lunar New Year. They drew lanterns that “lit up,” fireworks displays, and swimming fish. They were then free to use their skills to create art of their choice. The following animations are those that the students selected as their favorites from the animation unit.
