Although fourth graders are now working on coding (having just taken a break to learn and master The Oregon Trail and experience some good old fashioned computer game play), they started out the year working with google docs, learning to insert, format, and create their own images within google docs. The meme project was a fun way to combine inserting pictures and integrating them with text and drawings. Some fun examples below.
